The Way to Play King-Queen

The strength of the K-Q depends to a large extent on the quality of the other poker players you are playing with at any particular time. The more the poker players tend towards the maniac end of the scale, the stronger the K-Q is. If however you are sitting with strong players and there is a raise from early-middle position, this is not the best hand to get your custom poker chips in with.

If you sit in the middle-late poker positions, it is often a good idea to raise customized poker chips if there have been no raises of custom poker chips thus far. If you get re-raised, you should on balance merely call (this should be an easier decision if the K-Q is suited). The rule of thumb is that if there has been one raise behind you from a later position, you should call the raise with your custom poker chips. If the raise comes from a very early position, you should muck the hand and save those valuable custom poker chips for another poker hand (unless the guy is a poker maniac and has been thrashing around his custom poker chips recklessly all night!). Another minor exception to this is that if you are sitting in the blinds, you know no other poker player can raise custom poker chips behind you so calling a raise, even from the earliest of positions at the poker table, is a wise move.

If you have decided to limp in with the minimum amount of custom poker chips and another poker player raises you, it is probably worth calling the single raise. You must pull out immediately if an ace hits the flop as gambling custom poker chips with overcards in sight is not a good plan. Remember, even if you hit two pairs on the fop, if there is an ace in sight or if the cards are bunched together at the top end of the scale, your custom poker chips are not safe in this pot as there are potential straights or even better two pairs than yours! Remember, if you hit top pair and the flop is pretty low otherwise, you must bet this hand. Never check and hope to somehow trap your opponents on the turn or the river. All you are doing by not betting custom poker chips is giving your opponents a free card and putting your custom poker chip stack in jeopardy.
