This hand is not to be played from early or middle position unless you are keen to hand out your custom poker chips to other poker players at the poker table! Even if you call a raise of custom poker chips and hit your queen on the flop, how can you ever feel that confident about the state of your kicker? From late position, it is to be played with extreme caution if you intend to maximise custom poker chip winnings. You can call if you are sure that those that have merely called before you are not slow-playing strong hands (not the best strategy as we have talked about raising custom poker chips as a way of limiting the field-but poker players still do it).

You can perhaps raise custom poker chips from either the dealer button or if you are acting just before the dealer. This is only a sensible ploy if every other poker player before you has folded. With this raise of custom poker chips you are attempting to knock out everyone but one poker player in the blinds, thus creating a heads-up situation.

If you hold the queen-ten, you are looking to flop a straight, two pair or trips. Hitting top pair with your queen is a risky situation to be gambling custom poker chips with. If you raised, hit your queen on the flop and all other poker players checked to you, you can proceed comfortably as it is unlikely that your ten has been beaten. Custom poker chips will be heading your way very soon! But if someone raises custom poker chips, you are not going to feel happy about the state of your kicker. It is much better for you, in terms of customized poker chip winnings, if you hit your ten on the flop (the ten being top pair) as your kicker for that is fairly respectable (as long as no other poker players have overpairs in their hands!).

If you hit your queen on the flop and a jack is kicking around on the table, watch out if you hit your ten on the turn or the river. You may suddenly get excited and reach for your custom poker chips but be cautious as there is potentially a straight out there for another poker player at the poker table. Obviously if you have raised from the button to create a heads-up situation, this is less likely and you should gamble strongly with your custom poker chips.
