Strategy for playing a pair of Fours and a pair
of Threes
Rule number 1: Never over-value
these low pairs. From an early position they are pretty
much worthless and we guarantee they will eat up your
custom poker chip stacks. If you don’t flop
a set to your pair, they are so vulnerable in which
ever way you play them. If you are playing small pairs,
you have allowed luck to take over your poker game
and your custom poker chip winnings are bound to decrease.
Rule number 2: The general rule
of thumb is that when you have a large stack of custom
poker chips, you should play these small pairs more
often than when you have lower stacks of custom poker
chips. Too many poker players look down at any sized
pair and decide to go mental and push all their custom
poker chips into the middle of the poker table, hoping
to spike a set on the flop (they must know it is not
a good strategy for their custom poker chip winnings
given the amount of potential overcards out there).
Obviously if you have a very small stack of custom
poker chips and the blinds are beginning to eat you
up, it may be worth staking everything on this small
pair. What have you got to lose by gambling with the
small pairs? You will either be eaten by the blinds
or you can gamble your entire stack of custom poker
chips hoping to get lucky and spike the dream trips.
Rule number 3: Unlike fives and
sixes, this is not even a raising hand even if you
are sitting towards the back end of the poker table
near the dealer. Even if your bet of custom poker
chips manages to secure a heads-up situation, the
chances of two fours or threes coming out on top are
very slim indeed. It is much more advisable to adopt
the strategy of throwing away the cards as and saving
your custom poker chips for another round of poker
gambling. Pocket sixes are better because there are
8 less outs to contend with and the reason we suggested
raising custom poker chips with fives is because of
how much more unlikely it is that you will lose custom
poker chips to a straight. Play your poker sensibly
and try to see it as a skill rather than a form of
gambling and you are sure to come out a winner.
