BACKWARDS POKER PLAYERS

What on earth…we hear you asking! These are funny Texas Holdem poker players who do everything contrary to traditional orthodox poker teachings with their personalized poker chip sets! Before we describe how you should all play and gamble your personalized poker chip sets against backwards poker players, we should first define what one is!

Definition

A backwards poker player does exactly what the title suggests; he plays the gambling game of poker backwards! If they pick up a great poker hand, they will bet and play very cautiously, checking or placing a very small bet whilst looking very worried about their personalized poker chip sets! But, on the other hand, they play and gamble in an extra aggressive manner with their personalized poker chip sets at all other times. You will see their personalized poker chip sets being banded around the poker table like there is no tomorrow!

Does it Ever Work for Them?

A good question to which the answer is yes, but only at the right poker table. They won’t fare well with their personalized poker chip sets at tables full of professional tight-aggressive poker players. But at poker tables where the poker players are more amateur in the way they gamble with their personalized poker chip sets, they fare very well. At these sorts of poker tables, the poker players tend to fold before the flop (or call then fold when faced with another raise from the backwards poker player). They don’t ever become aggressive with their personalized poker chip sets and instead give the backwards poker player far too much credit for holding a great poker hand on nearly every betting and gambling round!

You need to be able to spot these sorts of poker tables and/or poker players when you turn up to a poker tournaments with one of your personalized poker chip sets. They are usually very easy to spot as the backwards poker player at the poker table will have a mountain of personalized poker chips and will be sitting there very smugly admiring the size of his personalized poker chip sets. Meanwhile, he will be placing massive careless bets with his personalized poker chip sets and will look like a very careless and reckless poker player. All the other poker players at the poker table will be worried about this poker player and will only be playing about 10% of poker hands dealt to them!
