This World Poker Tour DVD set is a compilation of 8 of the poker events from the 2003 WPT circuit. The set comes with 4 DVD discs with 2 WPT events contained on each disc. Starting at the world famous Bicycle Casino and The Legends Of Poker tournament, this set provides extensive and quality coverage of a further 6 major WPT poker tournaments before showing The World Poker Tour Championship from Las Vegas. The coverage on this World Poker Tour DVD set is slightly scaled back from the Season 2 WPT DVD set, which had an arguably overwhelming volume of poker action. Some WPT fans may have been aggrieved by the lack of 8 episodes of the circuit from this DVD but others have appreciated the more targeted approach it offers. Again this footage is a prime example of the complexity of real poker games and conveys the added dimension that is lacking in online poker games. With the new hole card camera technology the World Poker Tour have used in their tables, this footage is more gripping than one might see from footage of the World Series Of Poker.
