Online poker has become an Internet revolution and its spread has been of truly global proportion. With so many amateurs in online poker rooms using nothing more than luck as a guide, the online poker scene has become very attractive for experienced players and there is a whole host of strategic elements that help the better players systematically leave tables with a great deal more than they started. This poker DVD aptly titled, ‘How To Conquer Online Poker’, is solely dedicated to helping you achieve the best possible online results. Without being able to see your opponents, the strategy differs greatly from that you may employ in live poker tournaments and home games.

This particular online poker DVD is structured into four chapters starting with the typical beginners guide to poker rules and game structures. The second section is written and presented by one of the most famous World Series Of Poker Champions, Chris Moneymaker. Moneymaker gained his entry to the WSOP through an online satellite tournament and is perhaps one of the best poker pro’s to give advice at online poker. He deals with issues such as knowing your opponent, table selection and developing your own style. There is plenty of great advice here!

Tom McEvoy presents the 3rd section. Despite his lack of confidence in front of the camera, it’s substance that counts and it’s fair to say he has enough! This section really needs a couple of viewings to fully digest but all the material is concise and very useful!

Neither Moneymaker nor McEvoy waste any time in their sections with beginner talk and go straight into strategy analysis. McEvoy dealt with some very relevant issues, particularly to online poker, such as reading the board, thinking about future cards and actual ranking of your hand at any given moment in time.

This online poker DVD has a run time of 108 minutes and is ideally suited to players who are comfortable with the rules and are looking to take their online poker game to the next level.
